The IMPACT Access Fund: Opening Doors to a Brighter Future

The IMPACT Access Fund has provided over $84,000 of scholarship tuition to worthy students.

Approximately five million young adults in the U.S. are neither employed nor in school – these numbers are skyrocketing daily due to the current global COVID crisis. During this pandemic our core values of equity and access are now more important than ever.

The IMPACT Access Fund is a workforce & professional development program designed to provide real solutions to the diversity gap in the Sports and Entertainment industries. Through scholarships, the IMPACT Access Fund connects students with hands-on professional training, industry-specialized education, executive mentorship, and internship opportunities.

The IMPACT Access Fund is a project of The Giving Back Fund, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with federal tax-exempt status as a public charity, ID 04-3367888.

Our Students

IMPACT’s Professional Development Programs start with tackling the initial barrier of access many students face, but the key to the IMPACT Access Fund is the wraparound support students receive once they are connected to their new network of professional opportunities.

In their own words, Gigi and Lenny, two of our bright and talented Access Fund students, share how IMPACT has truly impacted their lives.

Be Part of the Solution

As a Corporation:

As an IMPACT Access Fund Corporate Partner, your generous support affords bright and talented young students access to invaluable training, hands-on mentorship, and next-level opportunities.

As the Title Sponsor, you empower IMPACT to maximize its reach to help the next generation of leaders grow with education, hands-on experience, and personalized mentorship. Your sponsorship not only offers deep satisfaction as you are part of the solution and the future, but it also affords you visibility and access to tomorrow’s industry leaders and influencers.

The Title Sponsor will directly change the lives of more than 40 students with dreams of impacting the Sports, Entertainment, and Media industries.

Your gift of $35,000 gives 10 students full access to all the IMPACT Training Program has to offer. The students you support will have the opportunity to participate in unparalleled teaching with industry-leading speakers, gain access to meet and build relationships with leaders in the Sports, Media, and Entertainment industries, and receive ongoing professional development through IMPACTS’s personalized mentorship program. Past students have gone on to secure internships at ESPN, Athletes First, Brillstein Entertainment Partners, and more. Without a doubt, your support will set these students up for a lifetime of success.

Session Sponsors go a long way towards supporting the full IMPACT program by helping to offset the costs of providing the program, opportunities, and mentorship to eager students. As a Session Sponsor, not only will you be a part of influencing young lives and minds, but your brand will also be afforded visibility in front of tomorrow’s leaders and influencers in the Sports, Entertainment, and Media industries.

“IMPACT is a great program that provides access to industry leaders and sharing these vital resources to students from Mayor Garcetti’s Evolve program has been instrumental in contributing to creating diverse work environments in sports and entertainment but most importantly drives social equity and change.” – Angeline Buenaventura, Economic Policy Manager (Entertainment, Tourism, Convention & Hospitality), Mayor Eric Garcetti, City of Los Angeles
