Finances, Admissions, and Enrollment

How much does the program cost?

The program costs $3,500. However, it is free to apply and interview.

When is payment due?

With a 20% initial deposit of $700, you can secure your enrollment and guarantee your seat in the Summer program. Full payment can be made at this time or students can sign up for a Payment Plan.

What is the refund/cancellation policy?

The initial deposit is non-refundable, however, if students are unable to participate and need to withdraw their enrollment prior to the start date of the program, the remaining program fee will be refunded. Please note that refunds will no longer be available once the program has started.

When is the deadline to register?

Session 1: The deadline to register is May 10th, 2021
Session 2: The deadline to register is July 26th, 2021

Applications submitted after the listed date will be placed on a waitlist. If and when a spot becomes available, we will notify you immediately.

How and when are decisions made on Experiential Learning Projects?

We have a rolling application process and projects fill on a first-come, first-served basis. The IMPACT team will divide and organize applications by their fields of interest and projects will be assigned based on availability and students’ fields of interest. While applications will be accepted throughout the application period, early submissions will facilitate access to the greatest number of project opportunities.

Program Details

Will I receive Academic Credit?

Experiential Learning Project participants may have the opportunity to receive academic credit. Consult with your school’s academic advisor to confirm your ability to receive course credit.

Will I receive a Certificate of Completion?

All program participants will receive an IMPACT Certificate of Completion in association with UCLA Anderson Center for Management of Enterprise in Media, Entertainment & Sports (MEMES).

What kind of company will I work with in my Experiential Learning Project?

We work with a variety of companies in the Sports, Entertainment, and Media industries, ranging from entrepreneurial startups to large, well-known companies. Specific project placement will be decided on prior to the start of the program.

How likely is it that this program will result in further employment opportunities?

All students that complete our program will join our Alumni Network and have access to apply for positions with corporate partners that post on our job board. Further employment after the program concludes is up to the discretion of our partners.

What if I am an international student?

International students are accepted; however, if any of our Placement Partners require participants to be legally authorized to work in the U.S., the necessary documents will be requested.
